Two NFL Players Missing, One Rescued

Boat Found with Nick Schuyler clinging to it, 3 others Still Missing.
Two NFL Players Missing, One Rescued

Four friends went for a fishing trip and were scheduled to return on Saturday evening. When they did not return, family members reported them missing.

The coast guard searched the area and found their boat over turned with NFL player Nick Schuyler clinging to it. Detriot Lions free-agent defensive end Corey Smith and Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper are among the missing. Both played together for Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2004. Also missing is former University of South Florida football player Will Bleakley.

Schuyler told authorities that they were all together on Monday at 2:00am but somehow they both became separated.

We are praying for the safe return, but things are not looking good. It is difficult being lost at sea, especially if you do not have some kind of floatation device to cling to. My father was lost at sea twice during his career as a fisherman. Once for almost 72 hours, but he did have a small raft he was holding onto. The other time was in the freezing cold Bering Sea in Alaska, he lost two of his friends including the captain of the boat.

Michael Phelps suspended for 3 months from Swim Team

After pictures surfaced of Michael Phelps inhaling from a pot bong he has been suspended from competition for three months by USA Swimming.

Phelps also lost his financial support from the agency for the same three month period.

"This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero," the agency said in a statement.

"Michael has voluntarily accepted this reprimand and has committed to earn back our trust."

Poor Michael, he is taking this well considering he is a 23 year old guy who obviously does not smoke pot on a regular basis.

Kellogg Company also stated that they will not keep Phelps on as a Corn Flakes endorser after his contract expires in February.

Signing Day Recruiting Wire

National signing day is almost over but there are still three major prospects still on the table.

Running back Bryce Brown, the No. 1 recruit in the country, and all-purpose back David Oku have put their decisions off indefinitely while defensive back Janzen Jackson could sign with a school tonight or tomorrow.

Jackson is committed to LSU but visited Alabama and Tennessee in recent weeks.
Brown is committed to Miami, where his brother Arthur is a rising sophomore. However, he is weighing his options with Oregon, Kansas State, USC, Tennessee and Auburn.

Oku decided Wednesday morning to wait to sign a National Letter of Intent. He is committed to Tennessee but took recent visits to Syracuse and Auburn.

Michael Phelps Has No Reason To Be In Hot Water

Why won't the media get over these Michael Phelps photographs. It must be a slow media day. Who cares if Phelps smoked pot? Seriously, we know that he does not smoke pot on a regular basis, a person could not possibly be a regular pot smoker and win 8 gold medals. And what if he was? I would say wow, what a dude! The guy is 23 years old for goodness sake. This is such a non story. Obama smoked pot and snorted coke and the media did not carry on about that.

I sure hope he does not lose one endorsement over this situation. If he does lose an endorsement we should band together and never buy that product again. He is a stand up guy and he has proven that at least 8 times over. These media idiots are just jealous of his success.

2009 Steelers Win Super Bowl 43

Woo Hoo! The Steelers win again. It was an awesome game. I hope you were able to see it.
Steeler Nation!

SuperBowl 2009

Woo hoo! The Pittsburgh Steelers have been my favorite football team since I was a small tot. My dad, who is not from Pittsburgh, was a big fan, so therefore, I became a fan as well. So, of course, I am rooting for the Steelers. And of course they are the favored team, so we shall see.

Hopefully the luck of the cardinals will wear out tonight.
